Caring and Storage
Wash zappies at least once before
use to maximise absorbency. Dark colours should be washed separately. Cold or
warm wash only.
Most anti-bacterial soakers can be used, but do not use chlorine bleachers! Our nappy's spun polyester thread resists anti-bacterial soakers and boil-proof elastic is safe in antibacterial soakers and clothes dryers.
Fold the Velcro on the waistband wings in on itself to help protect it from lint.
Peg the Zappy up by its absorbent pad as it will dry faster and take up less clothesline space.
Don’t dry them outside if the temperature is less then 0 Celsius.
Zappies are clothes dryer safe and fluff up nice and soft ready for use.
Zappy overpants must be hand washed with mild soap in cold water and hung to dry out of direct sunlight. This will help prolong the life of the special fabric. If coating begins to separate it is time for a new pair.
